Exposure was created from an audio wave of the protective red vinyl curtain in the room where the screens are exposed at Bicep Press fine art screen printers.
This is my third image delving into the screen printing process. This dark exposure room is where the viscera of the screen print are made, burnt into the screen in the darkness. It’s a strangely magical space, made all the more alluring by the fact you can’t enter it while the screen is being exposed.
It is one of a series of three on screen printing, with Repetition and Wash Out.
