In June, a friend called me and asked if I wanted to come in and chat about putting some art in their new bar in Bedminster, Bristol. Our discussion led to me now being Art Director for The Local Bar and Restaurant.
So, I called the project Rotation. Rotation is a new idea – to bring fresh art from local artists to the walls of The Local, with goal to provide a new space to display beautiful artworks in a non-standard location, and opportunities for local artists of all experience levels.
Rotating every four months, Rotation will display both established and emerging artists, and always feature one student or recent graduate.
